Evictions in Michigan – CDC extends eviction moratorium

The Center for Disease Contract and Prevention has extended the eviction moratorium through June 30, 2021. The eviction moratorium protects tenants from being evicted for failure to pay rent, only if the tenant fits into one of three categories and if the tenant executes the proper CDC declaration and does not interfere with other contractual rights of landlords. Please contact us if you need assistance navigating through the ever-changing landlord/tenant procedures. We will be happy to help.
